Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP are seeking the public's assistance in investigating a hit-and-run involving a young boy

On August 28, 2017, shortly after noon, a three-year-old boy and his mother were crossing the intersection of Union Street and Circular Road in Grand Falls-Windsor when the boy was struck by a car. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the car did not stop and immediately fled the scene. The car is described as a red Dodge Challenger or Charger.
