RCMP seek public assistance in investigation into fire in Tuktoyaktuk

RCMP are investigating a fire in the community of Tuktoyaktuk, NT.

At approximately 2:15 pm, September 24, 2017, Tuktoyaktuk RCMP responded to a fire at the Jason Jacobson Youth Centre.

The Hamlet of Tuktoyaktuk Fire Department attended the scene and was able to extinguish the fire. The building sustained damage from the fire. Tuktoyaktuk RCMP and the Northwest Territories Office of the Fire Marshall are investigating. The Office of the Fire Marshall has deemed the fire suspicious, so police are continuing the investigation.
