The RCMP is asking for the public's help in locating a brass plaque stolen from a monument at the Madawaska Airport in Saint-Jacques.

The plaque is part of a display of a Second World War airplane at the airport, and normally sits in front of the Lancaster KB882 Aircraft. The plane was built in 1942 and is one of the last surviving bombers of its kind. It was installed at the airport in 1964. The plaque is made of brass with a blue surface and raised lettering. It measures 3' by 3'.
