RCMP requesting public assistance locating stolen boat

Halifax District RCMP is investigating a theft of a boat that occurred at approximately 4:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13.

The boat, a 1990 Thompson Carrara 205 with cuddy cabin, was stolen from the Lake Charlotte boat launch across from Webbers Store. A white truck with a flatbed was seen pulling the boat from the boat launch. The truck went west on highway 7 after leaving the boat launch.

RCMP is looking to speak with anyone who may have seen anything suspicious and who was in the area between 3:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on June 13.
