News release

RCMP members working in PEI Halloween night were busy with a variety of calls across the province, the most serious being a number of suspected arsons that occurred in Prince County.

RCMP officers working in Queens County and Kings County responded to a number of egg throwing and minor damage complaints, and also to reports that at least 10 fire hydrants were opened in the community of Souris.

In Prince County, officers responded to fires at three vacant structures in the communities of Lot 16, Mount Pleasant, and Richmond, and to a report of a camper trailer on fire in Richmond. While there were no injuries as a result of any of these fires, the structures and trailer involved were completely destroyed.
