RCMP is requesting public assistance in locating stolen trailer and car

Colchester District RCMP is requesting public`s assistance in locating a stolen utility trailer containing a BMW sports car.

Just prior to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2017, a white enclosed utility trailer containing a 2001 BMW M3 sports car, was stolen from the parking lot at the Volkswagen dealership on Meadow Dr. in Lower Truro.

A dark coloured van was observed leaving the dealership hauling the trailer, turning right on to Robie Street then proceeded under the 102 overpass. Direction of travel following this is unknown.

The trailer is described as a white, 2015 enclosed utility trailer, with New Brunswick plate TRC647. It is 24-feet long with a three foot door on the right side.

The car in the trailer is described as a 2001 BMW M3 sports car with red and blue decals on the side and a black spoiler mounted above the trunk.
