RCMP investigating suspicious death of Morrell Siding man

The New Brunswick RCMP's Major Crimes Unit is asking the public's assistance in its investigation into the suspicious death of a 42-year-old Morrell Siding man.

Tony Vaillancourt had not been in contact with family or friends since April 9, 2017. On August 2, his body was discovered in the Saint John River, near Tobique Narrows. Following an autopsy and further investigation, police have determined his death is suspicious.

RCMP are actively pursuing several investigative avenues, and are asking anyone with information that could help the investigation to contact the RCMP's Major Crime Unit at 506-452-3491.
