At approximately 11:00 a.m. on September 5, 2017, Bay St. George RCMP, received a report of a single ATV collision in Gull Pond, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Officers and paramedics attended the scene and located the ATV and driver. Preliminary investigation showed that the ATV (side-by-side) was travelling on a gravel road and tipped on its side.
The 47-year-old female driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital in Stephenville. She succumbed to her injuries a short time later.
The investigation is ongoing.
