RCMP investigating incidents of farm animals stolen, injured, and killed

The Saint-Léonard detachment of the West District RCMP is asking for the public's assistance regarding three incidents involving farm animals in Haut-Madawaska.

Sometime during the week of August 21, 2017, two cows were stolen from a farm in the village of Caron Brook.

Sometime near the end of the month of August, two farm animals from a farm in the village of Clair, were shot and injured.

Between September 7, 2017, and September 9, 2017, a cow was shot and killed at a farm in the village of Saint-François.

It is unknown at this time if these incidents are related. The investigation is ongoing.
