RCMP investigating deaths of man and woman as a double homicide

The New Brunswick RCMP's Major Crime Unit is investigating the deaths of a 67-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman as a double homicide.

On October 30, 2017, shortly before 12:30 p.m., police were called to a home on rue Valcourt. When police arrived, they discovered the bodies of a man and a woman inside the home.

The victims have been identified as Jean Paul Caron and Melanie Roussie, both from Saint-Quentin.

At this point no arrests have been made, however police do not believe the incident was random.

The RCMP is asking anyone who saw the victims in the day leading up to their bodies being discovered or anyone with any information about this case to contact the New Brunswick RCMP's Major Crime Unit at 506-548-7774 or the Saint-Quentin Detachment at 506-235-2149.
