RCMP investigating attempted theft of safe

The Minto Detachment of the West District RCMP is asking for the public's help in its investigation into an attempted theft at the Minto Foodland.

On September 3, around 4:30 a.m., the Minto Detachment were called to a break and enter at the temporary Foodland grocery store location on Main Street. Thieves attempted to remove a safe by cutting through the floor, however they were unsuccessful. No other items were taken.
