RCMP investigating armed robbery of taxi driver in Clarenville

At approximately 11:00 p.m. on August 10, 2017, RCMP responded to a call that a taxi driver had been robbed at knife point by a male passenger. A quantity of cash was stolen from the taxi driver. The victim received minor injuries as a result of the incident.

A short time later a 26-year-old man was located and arrested for Armed Robbery. He remains in custody and will appear in court later today.
