At approximately 8:30 p.m. on August 3, 2017, Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP responded to a call of an armed robbery at the Coleman's grocery store on Fernwood Drive in Botwood, Newfoundland and Labrador. A man holding a knife entered the business and stole cash and cigarettes. The suspect then fled to a wooded area behind the store. No one was injured during the incident
The male suspect was wearing a black DC hooded sweater and grey sweatpants and had a bandana over his face. He is described as:
- Mid to late 20s
- Caucasian
- Dark hair
- Between 5'8 and 6' tall
- Slender build
