RCMP charges two Kings County men with trafficking cocaine

Two men were charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) after police searched a Port Williams home and seized cocaine, cash, firearms and drug paraphernalia.

As a part of an ongoing investigation, Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (VISCEU), with assistance from Kings District RCMP, conducted the search in the late evening of November 23. During the search, police seized 83 grams of cocaine, $6,000 in cash, two unsecured firearms and drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested 34-year-old Kristin Ryan Kirkpatrick of Port Williams and 35-year-old Dallas John Corbin of Kentville. The men have been charged with one count each of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine). Additionally, Kirkpatrick faces one count of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and one count of Unsafe Storage of a Firearm.

Both men were released on conditions and are scheduled to appear in Kentville Provincial Court on December 19.

The investigation is ongoing.
