RCMP asking for public's assistance in shooting that injured woman

The Shediac RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in relation to the shooting of a woman in Pointe-du-Chêne, N.B.

On December 17, 2017, shortly before 3:30 a.m., police were called to a residence on King George Street in Pointe-du-Chêne. A woman suffered a gunshot wound after being shot with a firearm. The woman was brought to the hospital where she was treated for minor injuries and was later released. Three individuals who were at the residence at the time of the incident were taken into custody and later released.

Police believe this was an isolated incident and the investigation is continuing.
