RCMP arrest two people in connection with break and enter, theft and mischief, Doctors Brook and Eddies Cove West

A 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with break and enter, theft and mischief in Doctors brook and Eddies Cove West.

On September 10, 2017, around mid-afternoon, Port Saunders RCMP responded to a break and enter at a generator shed in Doctors Brook. Shortly afterwards, police were called to a report of theft at a private wharf in Eddies Cove West. Gas had been stolen from both locations and there were damages noted to the generator shed.

A man and a woman from the Northern Peninsula were arrested Monday September 11, 2017. They were both released pending a court appearance November 28, 2017.

The investigation is continuing.
