RCMP arrest three men and seize drugs in Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Sheshatshiu

On November 9, 2017, as part of an ongoing investigation, Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Sheshatshiu RCMP arrested and charged three men with several offences including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Forty-five-old Jamie Michelin and 48-year-old William Ramey, both from Happy Valley-Goose Bay, were arrested for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Police seized over 100 grams of cocaine, over $7000.00 in cash and other drug trafficking paraphernalia. Both men are currently in custody with a court appearance scheduled for November 10, 2017.

In a separate incident, police arrested 22-year-old Eric Rich from Sheshatshiu and charged him with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. Approximately 16 grams of cocaine was seized. Mr. Rich was released with a court appearance scheduled for December 12, 2017.

The investigations are continuing.
