RCMP apprehend two impaired drivers and one suspended driver within 24 hours

New-Wes-Valley RCMP apprehended two impaired drivers in the Centreville-Wareham-Trinity area within a three hour period Saturday night and into Sunday morning.

A 49-year-old man from Wareham was operating an ATV while impaired. The other driver, a 65-year-old woman from Nova Scotia, was apprehended after a tip was received from the public. Both individuals were charged under the Criminal Code and released. They will appear in court at a later date.

A 60-year-old man from Wareham was stopped following a complaint from a concerned citizen. He was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under suspension and without insurance. The man's vehicle was subsequently towed and he faces charges under the Highway Traffic Act.
