Halifax District RCMP, along with the Eastern Shore Family Resource Association and the IWK Child Safety Link helped make a difference with child safety in vehicles.

On Friday, November 24, an educational traffic checkpoint was held on Forrest Hills Parkway in Cole Harbour where car seat inspectors from our partner agencies inspected over 75 car seats. Trained inspectors ensured car seats were installed properly and on a few occasions, gave new car seats to those who were using expired seats.

The RCMP thanks our partner agencies and the public for helping improve child safety in vehicles.
