Northwest Territories RCMP advise a Search and Rescue is under way just outside Yellowknife in the Reid Lake area.
On July 4, 2017 at approx. 10:41 AM Yellowknife RCMP received a report of a missing Mushroom Picker. The individual, a female, was last seen at approx. 4:00 PM on July 3, 2017.
An immediate air and ground search was activated utilizing volunteers in the area, Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA) and Yellowknife Search and Rescue (YKSAR). The search is ongoing. Due to operational demands of this search, there are no further details are available at this time. Updates will be provided as details emerge.
