Public assistance requested: theft of $1400 cash

At approximately 6:15 p.m. on November 25, a man and a woman entered a business in Lower Truro and were observed taking over $1400 in cash, in large denomination bills from the cash register. Colchester District RCMP is asking for help from the public to help solve the theft. Investigators believe the same two individuals may have been involved in a similar incident in New Brunswick.

The pair left the store and got into a newer model silver coloured Toyota Camry. The licence plate on the car is not known. Anyone who has information about the man and woman involved in this incident is asked to contact Colchester District RCMP at 902-896-5000 or, should you wish to remain anonymous, you can also contact Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or text TIP202 + your message to 'CRIMES' (274637) or submit tips by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
