Police seek help to investigate suspicious fires, Charlo, N.B.

The Northeast District RCMP is investigating two suspicious fires at the Department of Fisheries and Oceans building on Chaleur Street in Charlo.

Police and the fire department were first called to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans building on July 30, 2017 shortly before 3:00 a.m. where the fire was extinguished and again in the early morning of July 31 around 3:40 a.m. where the damage was more extensive.

The RCMP is seeking the public's help to identify a man wearing a yellow hoodie seen leaving the scene in a dark coloured vehicle.

Anyone with information about the fires or may have been in the area of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans building prior to the fires is asked to contact Campbellton RCMP at 506-789-6000.
