Police investigating bomb threat

At 9:45 a.m. today, Halifax District RCMP responded to a complaint of a bomb threat at a car dealership on Sackville Dr. in Lower Sackville. Police established a security perimeter around the area and evacuated the area, then conducted a search of the business and property.

RCMP Explosive Disposal Unit and Police Dog Services attended the location to conduct a search. After searching the business and the vehicles at the location, nothing suspicious was found.

This incident remains under investigation by the General Investigation Section of the RCMP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
