Police arrest P.E.I. man wanted on a warrant

Police have arrested a Prince Edward Island man wanted on a warrant for fraud and theft charges on November 15, in Charlottetown P.E.I.

48-year-old David Robert MacDonald appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on November 16, 2017 and was remanded into custody. He is scheduled to appear again in Moncton Provincial Court on November 17, 2017 for a Bail Hearing.

Codiac Regional RCMP sought the public's assistance in locating the man after a warrant was issued for his arrest on October 16, 2017. The warrant was issued in relation to a fraud and theft investigation relating to incidents that occurred between November 2016 and May 2017 at Action Fasteners in Moncton while MacDonald was an employee.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.
