On Thursday October 19, 2017 at 3:52 p.m., the East Prince RCMP responded to a 9-1-1 call of a two vehicle collision on Route 2 in New Annan.
A semi-truck and trailer was exiting a driveway in New Annan and entering on to Route 2 when a motorcycle collided with the truck. The lone occupant of the semi-truck was not injured. The operator of the motorcycle, a 55-year-old male, was injured and transported to the Prince County Hospital by Island EMS. The extent of his injuries are unknown.
Kensington Police Service assisted at the scene. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
