Meteghan RCMP searches home, seizes drugs

On September 8, pursuant to an investigation, Meteghan RCMP searched a home in Saulnierville Station. A large quantity of cannabis resin, along with quantities of marihuana plants, processed marihuana, illegal cigarettes, and drug paraphernalia were seized.

A 51-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both from Saulnierville Station, are facing charges of Production of a Controlled Substance (2 counts) and Trafficking in a Controlled Substance. They are scheduled to appear in court on November 14 in Digby Provincial Court.

The investigation is ongoing.
