Nova Scotia RCMP is inviting media to attend a groundbreaking ceremony at the future site of RCMP Kings District - New Minas Detachment. The building is under construction in New Minas at 8833 Commercial St., replacing the existing 35-year-old detachment at 18 Jones Rd., the administrative offices for the District on Commercial St. and other operational units currently located in Kings District. The construction project represents a $9,547,000 investment in New Minas.
