Members of the media are invited to join the RCMP in New Brunswick as we celebrate the opening of our newest detachment facility in Saint-Léonard. The program will feature a procession of RCMP members to the new detachment, a ribbon cutting ceremony, and remarks by:
- Senator the Honourable Percy Mockler
- The Honourable René Arsenault, M.P. Madawaska-Restigouche
- The Honourable Denis Landry, Minister of Justice and Public Safety
- His Worship, Mr. Carmel St-Amand, mayor of Saint-Léonard
- RCMP Assistant Commissioner Larry Tremblay, Commanding Officer for New Brunswick
- RCMP West District Commander, Supt. Lucie Dubois
- RCMP Deputy Commissioner Gilles Michaud
When: August 8, 2017 at 1 p.m. Media are asked to be in place no later than 12:45 p.m.

**Please note, this event will proceed rain or shine. In case of severe inclement weather, remarks by dignitaries will take place at the Saint-Léonard fire station at 108 rue du Pont, Saint-Léonard.
