On May 1, 2017, a member of the public phoned 911 to report that there was a man passed out, with a beer bottle in his hand, with his car running, in the Palmer Road Church parking lot.
West Prince RCMP responded and determined that the man was impaired and arrested him for having care and control of a vehicle while impaired. He was taken to the West Prince RCMP detachment where he provided samples of his breach which were more than three times the legal limit. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 8, 2017, to answer these charges.
The public is asked to continue to call in and report suspected impaired drivers and help to make the roads safe in our communities.
