Man dies from injuries sustained in crash

A 49-year-old man who was injured in a single vehicle crash on November 15, 2017 has died from his injuries.

On November 15, 2017, shortly after 7 p.m., police responded to a call for a car crash on Route 445 in Fairisle, N.B., just outside Neguac. Police believe both the driver and a passenger in the car were ejected from the vehicle. The driver of the car, a 49-year-old man from Fairisle, was taken to hospital in Miramichi with serious injuries. A 26-year-old man who was a passenger in the car suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the car was transferred to Saint John Regional Hospital, where he died from his injuries on November 21, 2017.

The investigation is continuing.
