The RCMP in New Brunswick has charged a Pokesudie man in connection with the death of a 27-year-old man from Bas-Caraquet.
On September 2, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. the RCMP in Caraquet responded to an altercation between two men in a field off Hwy 145 in Pokesudie near Bas-Caraquet. When police arrived they found a man deceased and another man was taken into custody.
Tom LeBouthillier, a 34-year-old man from Pokesudie has been charged with second degree murder. He was remanded into custody and will appear in Caraquet Provincial Court on September 5, 2017.
The RCMP in New Brunswick's Major Crime Unit is continuing to investigate.
