Man charged for excessive harassing calls to RCMP

A 46-year-old man from Port Medway was arrested after making over 40 calls to Queens District RCMP and the RCMP Operational Communications Centre on September 8. Many of the calls were threatening and harassing.

Forrester James Selig Jr. of Port Medway was arrested on September 8 and remanded into custody. He has been charged with:

  • One count of Uttering Threats
  • Two counts of Breach of Probation

He appeared in Bridgewater Provincial Court on Monday and was remanded back into custody. Selig Jr. will answer to these charges in Bridgewater Provincial Court on October 23 at 9:30 a.m. During that court appearance, he will also answer to charges related to an August incident in Port Medway.

The investigation is continuing as other charges may be considered.
