Man charged in connection with robbery, Tracadie-Sheila, N.B.

A 28-year-old man from Shippagan, NB has been charged in connection with a robbery at a convenience store in Tracadie-Sheila, N.B.

On September 5, 2017, around 9:20 p.m., a man entered a store on rue Principale in Tracadie-Sheila and confronted the store clerk. He fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

Later that same evening, Northeast District RCMP arrested a man in the Inkerman area.

On September 6, Jocelyn Mallet appeared in Tracadie Provincial Court and was charged with robbery and failure to comply with a probation order.

He has been remanded in custody pending a court appearance on September 8, 2017.
