Man charged in connection with home invasion and sexual assault

A 25-year-old man has appeared in court on four charges following a home invasion in Moncton.

On October 17, 2017, shortly after 3 a.m., the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion on Cameron Street. A woman in the home was taken to hospital and was later released. Police arrested a man at a home in Moncton later the same day.

Michael Jollie of Moncton attended Moncton Provincial Court on October 18 and was charged with break and enter, sexual assault, overcoming resistance to commission of offence and breaching court ordered conditions. He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in court on October 19 at 1:30 p.m. for a bail hearing.
