A 41-year-old man has been charged following an incident at a home in Saint-Louis-de-Kent.
On October 26, 2017, around 1:30 p.m., the Southeast District RCMP responded to a report of an assault at a home on Cyriac Road. When police arrived, a man was taken into custody. A woman in the home was taken to hospital and later released.
James Edward Mazerolle of Saint-Louis-de-Kent appeared in court on October 26, 2017, and was charged with aggravated assault, forcible confinement and uttering threats. He was sent for a five day assessment and is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on November 1, 2017 at 1:30 p.m for a bail hearing.
