Labrador Youth arrested/charged with careless use of firearm

A 14-year-old male youth has been charged with Careless Use of a Firearm after the Natuashish RCMP were advised that a bullet hole was discovered in the glass in one of the classrooms at the Mushuau Innu School.

The RCMP were called to the school in the morning on September 6th, 2017 when a hole was located in the window which appeared to be a bullet hole. The RCMP conducted an investigation which resulted in the youth being arrested yesterday, September 7th, 2017.

The youth appeared in court on September 8, 2017 and he was charged with careless use of a firearm and other related charges. No one was injured during this incident and the school was not in session when the incident occurred.
