Kings District RCMP Seize Marihuana Plants

Shortly after midnight on the morning of May 17th, 2017, members of the Kings District RCMP conducted a search of a property in Murray Harbour North, with a search warrant, after receiving information in relation to marihuana being grown there.

During the search, members seized 30 marihuana plants, as well as equipment used in its production, from a residence.

The owner of the property was arrested and subsequently released, and it is anticipated that charges will be laid once the investigation into the seizure is complete.

The RCMP will continue to investigate drug activity in our communities. Anyone with information on drug trafficking is asked to call the RCMP or provide anonymously via P.E.I. Crime Stoppers by:
