Impaired driver arrested west of Goobies following call from concerned citizen

Shortly after 1:00 P.M. on May 26th, Clarenville RCMP received a complaint from a concerned driver that a vehicle was being operated in an erratic manner on the Trans-Canada Highway, west of Goobies.

As a result, a 54-year-old man from the community of Southern Harbour was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. He provided breath samples over the legal limit and will appear in Clarenville Provincial Court at a later date.
