Impaired driver arrested with blood alcohol level more than four times legal limit

Late Friday morning, Whitbourne RCMP arrested an impaired driver who had a blood alcohol level more than four times the legal limit.

Police received a call of an erratic driver on the Trans-Canada Highway and stopped a car just east of Hodgewater Line.

A 41-year-old man from Kilbride is facing charges of impaired driving. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 4, 2017.

The traffic stop comes during Canada Road Safety Week which focusses on high risk driving behaviours including impaired driving.
