Halifax District RCMP investigates hit-and-run pedestrian collision

Halifax District RCMP are seeking the public's assistance with respect to a hit-and-run pedestrian collision.

At 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, a 24-year old male was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Cow Bay Road and Cleary Drive. The male was walking on Cow Bay Road when he was hit from behind by a gold or yellow-coloured compact car. The pedestrian hit the windshield of the car and was thrown into the air. The car fled the scene and should have damage to its windshield and would be missing a side mirror. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but non-life threatening injuries.
