Five arrested in connection with stolen property recovery and drug seizure

An 18-year-old man has been charged in connection with a break and enter at a cottage in Upper Tracy, N.B.

Sometime during the week of May 7-13, 2017, several firearms and an ATV were stolen during a break and enter at the cottage. On May 14, police arrested three men in connection with the thefts. During the course of the day on May 16, RCMP members executed search warrants at three houses in the Tracy and Fredericton Junction area and recovered the stolen ATV and firearms. They also seized a quantity of what is believed to be methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as other undetermined drugs. Two other men were arrested during the execution of the search warrants.

Noah Kingston of Tracy appeared in Burton Provincial Court on May 15 and was charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, and breach of probation. He has been remanded in custody pending a court appearance on May 19.

An 18-year-old man from Vespra, a 35-year-old man from Hoyt, a 51-year-old man from Tracy and a 53-year-old man from Central Blissville were arrested and released pending later court appearances.

The investigation is continuing.
