On September 9, 2017 at 4:05 a.m., the East Prince RCMP responded to a two vehicle collision on Route 2 in Mount Pleasant, PE. Island EMS and Tyne Valley Fire Department assisted at the scene.
A 38 year old male from Summerside passed away as a result of his injuries. The deceased male was alone in his vehicle. The driver, and lone occupant of the other vehicle, was not injured.
An RCMP Collision Analyst attended the scene and conducted an examination. The investigation is ongoing.
