The hunting and trapping of animals out of season is a recognized illegal activity. Another very serious offence is the hunting of deer, moose, and other animals at night.
In New Brunswick, night hunting is a major offence under the Fish and Wildlife Act. It takes unfair advantage of our wildlife by using a light, and it is an inherently unsafe act.
The Department of Public Safety, the New Brunswick Wildlife Federation, and hunters, along with Crime Stoppers, believe that the majority of citizens in our province deplore such activity.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.
