At approximately 6:30 p.m. on November 22, 2017, Corner Brook RCMP received a call of a head-on collision between two vehicles on the Trans-Canada Highway at Steady Brook.
One of the vehicles was seen travelling eastbound in the westbound lane moments before the collision. The drivers, and lone occupants, escaped without serious harm.
A 25-year-old man from Rocky Harbour was issued a 7-day suspension, followed by a 90 day suspension. Alcohol was a factor in this collision.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
