Codiac RCMP investigate suspicious fire

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in relation to a suspicious fire that occurred at a residence in Moncton.

Shortly before midnight on December 14, 2017, police and the Moncton Fire Department responded to a call of a fire on Killam Drive. Residents who were in the building at the time of the fire were able to get out safely and no one was injured. The building sustained extensive damage.

Police believe the fire is suspicious in nature. The Codiac RCMP, along with the Fire Marshall's office, is investigating to determine the cause of the fire.

Anyone with information about this incident or who may have been around the location before the fire started is asked to contact the Codiac RCMP at 506-857-2400.
