Codiac RCMP asking public's help in investigation into three bank robberies

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's assistance with its investigation into three bank robberies in downtown Moncton during the month of September, 2017.

On September 6, 2017, a man entered the UNI bank at 305 St. George Street and demanded money, indicating he had a weapon. On September 11, 2017, the Advance Savings Credit Union on Weldon Street was held up by a man who suggested he had a weapon. Then on September 21, 2017, the UNI bank on George Street was held up again by a man who indicated he had a weapon. In all three cases, the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect in all three incidents is described as Caucasian, approximately 5'9" tall with a husky build. Police believe the three incidents may be related. The investigation is continuing.
