Clarenville RCMP arrest woman for impaired driving

At approximately 3:30 a.m. on August 11, 2017, Clarenville RCMP responded to a complaint of an erratic driver in the town of Clarenville.

A 26-year-old woman was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. She provided breath samples nearly two times the legal limit. The woman will appear in court at a later date.

RCMP urge motorists to call 911 should they suspect someone is driving while impaired. Providing a description of the vehicle and driver, a licence plate number and direction of travel can assist police in locating the vehicle and getting the impaired driver off the road.
