Charlottetown man arrested for Impaired Driving

On the morning of August 13, 2017, Kings District RCMP were dispatched to a complaint of a possible impaired driver.

A Kings District officer conducted a traffic stop and the male driver was observed to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was transported to the Montague RCMP office to provide breath samples. The readings on the samples provided were well over two times the legal limit.

A 27 year-old Charlottetown man is scheduled to appear in Charlottetown Court in September, on charges of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Over 80 mgs.
