From May 14 to 20, the RCMP will celebrate National Police Week by hosting a variety of public events featuring our people, services and equipment.

Art Contest - WANTED: Young Picassos in the making, May 1-15

In celebration of National Police Week the RCMP has launched an art contest for children in Grade Primary – Grade 6 living in Nova Scotia. For more information, visit: http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/news/2017/wanted-young-picassos-the-making. Contest winners to be announced May 19!

RCMP and Halifax Regional Police Mall Showcase, May 13

Kick-off Police Week by hopping into the driver's seat of a police cruiser, snapping a selfie with Safety Bear and Blue or visiting Jake the police dog. RCMP officers will also be available to answer questions about a career in law enforcement – We are hiring!

Police Week RCMP Open House, May 17

This popular event provides something for everyone in the family, including a free BBQ and a performance by the RCMP Pipes and Drums Band. Learn how a robot removes explosive devices, what Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Services do and more.
