Break, enter and theft at Bouctouche Fire Department

The Richibucto detachment of the Southeast District RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in relation to a break, enter and theft that occurred at the Bouctouche Fire Hall in Bouctouche, NB.

Sometime between the evening of November 3 and the early morning hours of November 4, 2017, entry was gained into the Bouctouche Fire Hall located on Irving Blvd.

Emergency response tools and equipment, including the "jaws of life" were taken. The equipment is unique as it's specially made for and used by fire departments. All of the equipment that was stolen has "BFD" spray-painted on it.

This equipment is necessary for the fire department when responding to emergency situations.

A fire department vehicle that was also stolen was recovered on November 4.
